Citizen's League Policy Blog
Annie Levenson-Falk of the Citizen's League posted a nice piece on their policy blog regarding my 10 point plan for re-organizing Minnesota governance around natural landscape units. I really hope that the magnititude of our current budget woes is sufficient to compell the legislature to take a bigger-picture, longer-term approach than has been typical in the past. In the 21 century, who really needs 87 arbitrarily bounded counties? Who needs 343 school districts? And what is the point of maintaining townships at all?
